QC should be selected based on the reactivity of the material in the assay(s) in which it will be used. Ideally, the QC material's reactivity should be 2-4 times the cut-off of the assay to challenge the assay cut-off. It should not be assumed that if a control reacts appropriately in one assay that it will yield reactivity similarly appropriate in another.
Bio-Rad's line of Infectious Disease QC products offers your laboratory a convenient solution for a variety of analytical platforms and methodologies. Learn more by downloading this white paper on Infectious Disease Serology testing. |
