ViPS40 40kV High Voltage Power Supply
The ViPS40 high voltage power supply features programmable output voltage and current set points, data logging ability, soft-start, and more.
Digitally controlled using a micro-controller, the ViPS40 is optimized to power x-ray tubes up to 40kV. The power supply is easily programmable to support different output voltage levels, operating limits, and control inputs.
The user interface is pc-based, intuitive, and easy to use. The interface display includes operating conditions such as temperature, output voltage, and current levels.
Power supply auxillary functions include fan control, data logging, power supply control, regulation, and protection functions such as over-voltage, over-current, and thermal protection. Tube monitoring is included, and includes ‘on-time’ and tube life.
Digital controls means a lower component count. The digitally controlled ViPS40 is smaller, lighter, and less costly than externally controlled supplies.
