HORIBA Scientific, world leader in the design and manufacture of Raman and Fluorescence instruments and solutions, has 2 new products we’re excited to be showcasing at Pittcon in booth #2819!
First, is our Duetta, a two-in-one fluorescence and absorbance spectrometer. Duetta is a revolutionary fluorescence/UV-Vis spectrometer that combines fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy into one instrument eliminating the need for multiple scanning instruments. Duetta’s ultrafast, state-of-the-art CCD technology makes it the fastest bench-top fluorometer in the world, and the only fluorometer that can acquire a full spectrum in less than 100 milliseconds! Its CCD technology extends NIR wavelength detection to 1,100 nm, well beyond the limit of standard PMT fluorometers. Duetta also features new EzSpec touch screen software that offers dedicated apps-driven icons that simplify the user experience and the operation of the instrument.
Second, is our AnywhereRaman™, a self-contained Raman instrument that combines a spectrometer, a laser, a ball probe and an acquisition computer all in one, portable instrument, to easily obtain high quality Raman measurements without the need for multiple instrumentation or processes. The ball probe with TouchRaman™ immersion technology lets users simply touch the sample and acquire data for high-quality, reproducible measurements. It can be used for applications including petrochemicals, biopharmaceuticals, in-situ reaction monitoring, end point monitoring, QC of incoming materials, forensics, and sample monitoring at high temperatures and/or pressures.
