BBI Solutions, Merck Millipore and Kinematic Automation come together to host their third annual lateral flow test seminar – this time in London.
Three of the diagnostic industry’s most established organisations will come together once again this year to host their annual seminar – ‘Lateral flow test development: a hands-on experience’.
Following two successful years hosting in the USA, this year’s event will take place at the prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry in London on the 3rd and 4th of June. Designed for sharing knowledge, experience and the latest developments in lateral flow, the two day workshop will be delivered through a series of technical lectures and hands on labs which will allow delegates to put theory in to practice, as they develop their own lateral flow test.
The seminar, which covers design considerations, labels of choice, design automation and new for this year; becoming a legal manufacturer and quantifying lateral flow tests, is aimed at scientists, engineers and technicians working in R&D and product development.
Delegates will learn from industry leaders BBI Solutions, Merck Millipore and Kinematic Automation. This year the company has also announced presentations from technical experts Prof. Duncan Graham BSc Hons, PhD, CChem, FRSC, FRSE, University of Strathclyde and Alastair Dent FRSC, Managing Director of Fleet Bioprocessing Ltd.
Leigh Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer at BBI Solutions commented “The lateral flow space is constantly evolving, with demand for new technologies and faster, more accurate results. Our combined experience will provide delegates with an excellent foundation for developing market leading, next generation assays. We are delighted Professor Graham and Alastair will be speaking this year – these gentlemen are experts in their field and I am looking forward to the discussion around the future of diagnostic testing methods.” The two-day workshop will take place on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th June at the Royal Society of Chemistry, London. Booking is essential as limited places are available. Anyone interested can learn more and register for the event via the BBI Solutions website, www.bbisolutions.com.
