Philadelphia, PA and College Station, TX, November 13, 2012 – Foster Wheeler Biokinetics announced today that they have signed a global collaboration to offer highly advanced and flexible production platforms for the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The new collaboration will leverage G-Con Manufacturing’s novel modular, mobile clean-room PODs™ and Foster Wheeler Biokinetics acknowledged leadership position in biotechnology engineering. This relationship enhances the collaboration capabilities between G-Con and Sartorius Stedim Biotech, which was announced earlier this year. The combination of these collaborations create an optimal form of engineering, facility design combined with the wealth of single- and multi-use products, creating an ideal facility and process support for the biopharmaceutical industry.

The two companies recently successfully completed their first joint project in San Diego, CA, a 24’ POD (768 sq. ft.) delivered within 16 weeks of the order date that has a partial ceiling height of 15’ and the capability to maintain RH at 35% in a controlled non-classified environment.
Both companies emphasized the availability of the G-Con standard units immediately.
