- Date: 27 - 28 September
- Location: Bangalore India
- Type: Conference
Pharmaceutical industry is utilizing a plethora of novel approaches, techniques and technologies for Drug Design and Discovery. Use of novel interdisciplinary approaches, developed by understanding integrated biological systems and processes at the functional and molecular levels, has made the discovery process more rational, but complex too. Therefore for optimizing the discovery and development of new molecular entities, it is a current practice to follow collaborative research amongst interdisciplinary academic/research centers, government agencies and pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Rathnam Chaguturu (Senior Director, SRI International, USA) serving as the Conference Chair, Drug Discovery India 2013 will provide an excellent platform for researchers from all facets of drug discovery research to discuss the future perspectives and also an unprecedented opportunity to explore the contract research and collaborative options amongst various research fraternities. Planned open panel discussions and break-out sessions on key thematic areas are sure to energize the participants in defining the drug discovery and development landscape, especially within the Indian context, and offer ways and means to de-risk the patent cliff experienced by the pharmaceutical industry in recent years.
The conference will be co-located with Genomics & Proteomics Research and Microfluidics & Lab-on-a-Chip meetings at Hotel Sheraton at Brigade Gateway, Bangalore, India. Registered delegates will have unrestricted access to all co-located meetings ensuring a comprehensive learning and sharing experience as well as being financially beneficial for attendees.
Running alongside the Drug Discovery India 2013 conference will be an Exhibition covering the latest technological advances and associated services within these fields. We look forward to welcoming you at the Drug Discovery India 2013 Conference and Exhibition and hope that the two days will be both informative and enjoyable.
